Did you hear that?
Sometimes I hyper focus on a certain musician and fill my ears and soul with nothing but their music. This often happens when it's an artist with a massive back catalogue spanning over years or even decades. Nick Cave, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder to name a few.
Lately I've been in the opposite mood. I'm bouncing between genres and artists and filling my cup at as many fountains as I can. Some months variety truly is the spice of life!
But keeping a secret would be rude! So, who are the artists I've been spinning the most?

Dijon released his second album 'Baby' earlier this month and it's been impossible to keep it out of my rotation. Every track is groovy, passionate, and strangely dreamy. Nobody has the vibe Dijon has.
Tyler the Creator sneak released a small but absolutely buoyant album, 'Don't Tap the Glass' while we were still in the dead center of the 'Chromakopia' album cycle. So, I finally really dug into both albums many times, back-to-back. They're funky, catchy, and often shockingly moving.

Another new release that is getting it's hooks in the still is the new Wolf Alice album, 'The Clearing.' The energy and unpredictability are what keep me coming back to Wolf Alice. They’re never afraid to try some new things with each new record and it's the band's passion that really shines through every time.
Finally, the last artist getting the most replays is a singer I just stumbled upon by accident, Jenevieve. The songs 'Haiku' and 'Party Crasher' are so undeniably sweet and smooth and her album 'Chrysalis' is filled with all the neo-soul and alternative-r&b vibes you could ask for.

So, those are some of the artists keeping the horrors at bay. I hope you hear something new as well!
